Meet Ammie Akin....
Ammie Akin, a trail-blazing entrepreneur, multi-level educator, and longtime advocate for adults, teens, and children with disabilities, is the co-founder of the country's first-of-its-kind "shared" non-profit facility.
Meet Ammie
Ammie Akin has spent nearly 25 years in education, teaching and leading at every level from elementary classrooms to college lecture halls, including stints as an elementary administrator and assistant superintendent. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Samford University. Today she serves as board chair for Unless U and co-founder of Hub in the Hills, a shared campus for Birmingham non-profits.
